The American Trucking Assns. (ATA) has launched its Small Carrier Program, which gives motor carriers earning $11 million or less in annual revenue and private fleets with 100 trucks or fewer access to discounts and rebates for fuel, tires and equipment.

Participants in the program receive rebates of up to three cents per gallon for fuel purchased at more than 500 truckstops. Small carriers that join ATA under the program will receive rebates of up to $1,000 on new and used trucks. Discounts are also provided for tires, parts, mobile communications, technology, insurance, legal services, office supplies and lodging.

“ATA is reaffirming its commitment to aggressively advance the interests of small motor carriers by maximizing opportunities for the small trucking companies that compose the bulk of our national fleet,” said ATA president & CEO Bill Graves.
