ATRI to gauge border inefficiencies

The American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) today announced it has been commissioned by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency (CBP) to assess the efficiency of CBP’s truck e-manifest program

The American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) today announced it has been commissioned by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency (CBP) to assess the efficiency of CBP’s truck e-manifest program.

ATRI is charged with documenting border crossing inefficiencies from both an industry and regulatory perspective and will prioritize efficiency solutions. ATRI will provide CBP with an analysis of benefits and costs associated with the e-manifest program and offer recommendations for system refinement.

ATRI is a not-for-profit research organization for the trucking industry.
