CARB Offers Free NOx-Reducing Software

CARB offers free NOx software for engines

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) is working with the California Trucking Assn. to get free NOx-reducing software installed on eligible electronically controlled engines registered in California.

“Most 1993-1999 model year California-registered heavy-duty diesel trucks, school buses, and motor homes with engines manufactured by Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit Diesel Corp., Mack/Renault, Volvo and International are eligible for the software,” stated CARB.
