Inwood, NY-based Cargo Connection Logistics Holding has stated it is opening a new base of operations in the California Bay Area. The 20,000-sq.-ft. facility with six truck bays is located in San Jose, CA, and will serve as a vital transit point for the company’s incoming business from China and the Pacific Rim.
The center is the first of three planned facilities in the Bay Area that will facilitate expansion of the firm’s business in and out of Asia, said David Quach, vp-business development/Pacific Rim.
“Having a presence on the West Coast is the first and critical step to enable [us] to expand business worldwide,” he noted. “My primary goal is to enable Cargo Connection Logistics to become a major player in the logistics business in China and the Pacific Rim and this facility will serve as a catalyst as we embark on our goals.”
Cargo Connection Logistics Holding consists of Cargo Connection Logistics Corp. and Mid-Coast Management, both headquartered in Inwood, NY, adjacent to JFK International Airport. The company also has offices in Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Columbus, Miami, New York and Pittsburgh.
