Calgary, Alberta-based CSI Wireless Inc. has announced that its Asset-Link 410 and Asset-Link 150 telematics products have received approval from four major cellular carriers for use on their networks. The two products have generated over $1 million in sales.

Asset-Link 410 has been approved by Rogers Wireless in Canada, Telefonica in Latin America, and reseller KORE Wireless. Aeris.net and its Microburst network have tested and approved Asset-Link 150.

Other major North American carriers are considering the products for approval, CSI said.

Asset-Link 410 is a digital telematics product that uses GSM-GPRS/SMS technology for higher-bandwidth applications such as frequent updates of fleet operation data.

The analog-based Asset-Link 150 uses Areis.net’s Microburst cellular network for applications for trucking fleets, rental fleets, transit and municipal vehicles, heavy equipment management and stolen vehicle recovery.
