CVSA slates annual meeting

The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance will hold its annual conference April 22 to 27 at the Marriott Hartford Downtown & Connecticut Convention Center

The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance will hold its annual conference April 22 to 27 at the Marriott Hartford Downtown & Connecticut Convention Center.

The conference will feature trucking industry leaders, enforcement officials and policy makers addressing key industry safety issues. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration will also participate in the event.

The topics will include:

  • FMCSA Large Truck Crash Causation Study
  • hours-of-service and electronic onboard recorders
  • traffic enforcement
  • Government Accountability Office report on improving commercial vehicle crash data
  • SafeStat
