Dana Corp. has contributed $100,000 to the Red Cross International Response Fund to support the relief effort for the recent tsunami victims in Asia. The company also plans to make a second donation that matches employee and retiree contributions made to registered charitable organizations through Jan. 31, 2005.
Dana operates five facilities in India, as well as three in Indonesia and Thailand. None of the company’s facilities were affected by the tsunami.
“In the wake of this devastating tragedy, Dana Corp., its employees and retirees are committed to helping with the recovery and rebuilding efforts in South Asia and India,” said Mike Burns, Dana chairman & CEO. “We hope that our contributions will help make a difference in the recovery process.”
