Aether signs up Oester Trucking

Aether Systems Inc., a wireless communication provider based in Owings Mills, MD, has added Pennsylvania-based Oester Trucking as a customer. Aether Systems Inc., a wireless communication provider based in Owings Mills, MD, has added Pennsylvania-based Oester Trucking as a customer. Oester will use Aether’s MobileMax2 wireless communications system for its dry van and refrigerated division.

Aether said Oester’s two divisions represent a total of 100 trucks. By enhancing communication between drivers and fleet managers, Aether said its MobileMax2 system will help Oester to increase the level of customer service and improve overall productivity and efficiency of its fleet. Oester Trucking, which provides both short haul and long service, primarily east of the Rocky Mountains, completed all installations at the end of the third quarter.
