CompassCom Inc. yesterday unveiled its latest offering, the Incident Command Module (ICM), as an add-on module designed to operate with its CompassTrac and CompassTrac Mobile client software.
ICM was created for the public safety and homeland security markets with input from existing CompassCom Fire and First Responder customers. ICM provides tactical mapping and incident management capabilities on dispatch and mobile computers.
Among ICM’s capabilities, CompassCom said the most important for real-time tactical incident management is the ability to view data from multiple databases, such as asset location, incident location, Records Management System, and display building floor plans, tenant lists and other relevant information on the CompassTrac screen in dispatch and mobile command vehicles. ICM can view graphical or text documents in a variety of file formats.
