Scott McWilliams, OHL’s president and COO, has been named CEO of the combined company. Perry Ozburn, chairman of OHL, will become a member of the company's executive committee.
“The logistics business has changed dramatically in recent years,” said McWilliams, regarding the need for the merger. “With the financial resources of the newly combined company, we will be able to meet the requirements of a larger customer base, leveraging the advantages of our proprietary technological products.”
Founded in 1951, OHL employs 800 people and manages and operates over 6-million sq. ft. of distribution centers, including 3.7-million sq. ft. in the Middle Tennessee area. OHL provides a wide range of services, including logistics management, transportation, real estate development, brokerage, material-handling and fleet-management services.
