Fleet One and the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Assn. (OOIDA) have announced the creation of Truckers Advantage, a fuel card program designed to give small business truckers and small fleet owners access to pricing and volume purchasing capabilities.
Fleet One president Andy Roberts said those markets previously did not have a cost effective way of receiving and using a fuel card to meet their business needs.
"High transaction fees, monthly minimums and high invoicing costs just did not make financial sense." said Roberts "Our partnership with OOIDA removes all of these hurdles and places a full service product with cost savings benefits into the hands of this group."
Benefits include fuel purchases, cash advances and discount tire purchases.
