LTL carrier G.I. Trucking Co. has added additional lanes in California, Arizona, Nevada and Washington to provide additional regional overnight services between key metropolitan areas. The California-based transportation company said it recently launched faster lane service to numerous key metro-zone interconnection lanes.

"Our business objective is to meet a variety of customer demands,” said Bill Reid, president of G.I. Trucking. “The overnight lane additions will meet the faster delivery requirements of customers in over 500 Western cities."

Major lane additions offer customers served by G.I. Trucking facilities in San Diego, Phoenix, Tucson, AZ and Calexico, CA new overnight service between their respective service centers. Other multiple city service includes overnight delivery between San Diego, Sacramento, San Francisco and San Jose. Included in the lane configuration is faster direct service from Sacramento, San Jose and San Francisco to San Diego.

New city-pair service includes overnight service between Seattle and Spokane, WA; Las Vegas and Sparks, NV; Phoenix and Camarillo, CA; and overnight service between Las Vegas and Fresno, CA. The complete picture of the service expansion includes faster service to hundreds of other surrounding communities served from those metro-zone service centers, the company said.
