Information technology (IT) consulting and services firm Analysts International said today that it has signed a managed-services agreement with Chicago-based International Truck and Engine Corp.

Under the agreement, Analysts’ managed services group will oversee the procurement of contract resources for the manufacturer's IT organization in Chicago and Springfield, OH.

"In today's tight economy, more companies are searching for quick ways to take costs out of the business,” said Tom Stockburger, gm for Analysts’ managed services group. “By selective sourcing and centralizing procurement of contingent and permanent resources, managers can better focus on running their businesses."

In addition, Minneapolis-based Analysts will provide the OEM with associated billing and administrative services.

"This agreement will help our company reduce our overall IT expenditures and streamline hiring processes,” said Art Data, International Truck and Engine’s vp of IT. “It's a win for both shareowners and customers."
