J. B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. today announced implementation of new programs and services developed by the Fleet Services Division of Transplace for management of drug and alcohol testing and compliance-related medical billing services.

The programs streamline the process for medical review officers (MROs) and transportation companies to obtain, review and report test results and to provide billing efficiency. Transplace will also serve as the third-party administrator for J.B. Hunt.

Using its web-based system, Transplace provides an integrated management service of drug and alcohol tests, providing complete visibility to the J.B. Hunt designated employer representative (DER) to all tests. The system is designed to protect the confidentiality of the data during all phases of the testing and reporting process.

Results are available to the DER immediately upon review by the MRO, thereby reducing delays in using new drivers.
