Kenworth Offers T300 Hydraulic Brake Option

BALTIMORE – Seattle-based Kenworth Truck Co. has expanded its medium-duty product line by introducing a hydraulic brake option for its T300 Class 6 model at the National Truck Equipment Association’s convention and T3 Expo . BALTIMORE – Seattle-based Kenworth Truck Co. has expanded its medium-duty product line by introducing a hydraulic brake option for its T300 Class 6 model at the National Truck Equipment Association’s convention and T3 Expo .

Kenworth will offer Bosch hydraulic disc brakes as an option for the T300 Class 6 model, which carries a gross vehicle weight rating of 26,000 lbs. The braking system comes with the Bosch HydroMax brake booster, WABCO ABS modulator valve, and Bosch zero offset pin slide calipers.

The hydraulic brake option is available on the T300 Class 6 model with a Caterpillar 3126E engine with horsepower ranging from 190 to 250 hp, and Eaton Fuller 6-speed transmission. It also includes a cable-actuated driveline parking brake.

Production of the T300 Class 6 vehicle with hydraulic brakes is slated to begin in late April.
