Logistics.com, a logistics-service provider based in Burlington, MA, has added drugstore chain Rite Aid as a customer.
Logistics.com said it has been hired to secure the majority of Rite Aid’s annual ground transportation contracts, which include truckload, less-than-truckload and intermodal services.
The contract covers inbound shipments to Rite Aid’s distribution centers, warehouse-to-warehouse transportation and the portion of its outbound transportation that is not handled by Rite Aid’s private fleet.
Rite Aid, which posted $14.5 billion in revenues last year, operates 3,600 drug stores in 29 states and the District of Columbia.
