NAL adds executives, keeps expanding

Third-party logistics provider North American Logistics (NAL) has added two executives as it continues its expansion effort. Ft. Wayne, IN-based NAL is subsidiary of SIRVA, a provider moving, logistics, insurance, and related financial services to corporations and consumers.

NAL has hired Angela Varga as its director of operations for its freight-forwarding group. Her extensive includes stints with Pilot Air Freight and USF Worldwide. Her responsibilities include central purchasing all air cargo, ocean and substituted ground carrier service and support for freight forwarding IT systems.

Richard Phillips has been hired as director of transportation management. His background includes time spent with FedEx Logistics and Ryder Logistics.

"The long and short of these moves is to hire expertise across the different vertical markets in logistics so the company can expand," NAL spokesperson Teresa Wilcox told Fleet Owner.
