New Penn updates online services

New Penn Motor Express Inc. has updated its website to give shippers the ability to create bill of lading documents online and submit pickup requests directly to a local New Penn dispatcher. Lebanon, PA-based New Penn said it hopes its new password-protected Internet application will convince shippers to use the electronic process instead and eliminate those phone calls.

The carrier noted that other new features include a forms library, where customers can print copies of commonly used shipping documents such as a credit application, claims processing form or shippers export declaration.
