New Penn Wins Carrier Award

New Penn Motor Express Inc., a subsidiary of Arnold Industries Inc., earned a rating of 100% on-time delivery to receive the 2000 LTL Re-Distribution Carrier Award from the WPG Shippers Assn. New Penn provides pool distribution services for WPG. Truckload carriers bring consolidations of LTL shipments to New Penn facilities, and same-day and next-day delivery is then provided by New Penn throughout
New Penn Motor Express Inc., a subsidiary of Arnold Industries Inc., earned a rating of 100% on-time delivery to receive the 2000 LTL Re-Distribution Carrier Award from the WPG Shippers Assn.

New Penn provides pool distribution services for WPG. Truckload carriers bring consolidations of LTL shipments to New Penn facilities, and same-day and next-day delivery is then provided by New Penn throughout the Northeastern U.S.

WPG measures its carriers on five criteria including on-time delivery, shipment status reporting, prompt unloading, speed of delivery and overall customer service attitude. New Penn outperformed 15 regional LTL distribution carriers from throughout the U.S. to receive this recognition.

WPG is a not-for-profit organization that provides transportation and logistics services for 85 member companies that are in the paper, plastics and other manufacturing industries.
