P.A.M.'s earnings pull ahead in 3Q

P.A.M. Transportation Services posted higher net income in the third quarter and for the first nine months of 2002 compared to the same periods last year. For the third quarter, P.A.M. recorded net income of $3.95 million on revenues of $65 million, versus net income of $2 million on revenues of $53.6 million in the same quarter last year. For the first nine months of 2002, the Tontitown, AR-based
P.A.M. Transportation Services posted higher net income in the third quarter and for the first nine months of 2002 compared to the same periods last year.

For the third quarter, P.A.M. recorded net income of $3.95 million on revenues of $65 million, versus net income of $2 million on revenues of $53.6 million in the same quarter last year.

For the first nine months of 2002, the Tontitown, AR-based truckload carrier posted net income of more than $12.5 million on revenues of $199.1 million, compared to $7.5 million in net income on $169.5 million in revenues over the same period in 2001.
