    Parker named TCA chairman

    March 6, 2002
    G. Clifton Parker will be sworn in today as chairman of the Truckload Carriers Assn. (TCA). Parker is president & gm of truckload and intermodal carrier G & P Trucking Co. Inc. of Columbia, SC. Parker has been a TCA member for 10 years and has served on numerous management panels and committees. He is also vp at large of the American Trucking Assns.
