Peregrine Systems, a software company, has introduced its Transportation 5.0 suite, which provides a one-stop, integrated maintenance and management system for transportation assets.
Transportation 5.0 incorporates Peregrine's Fleet Management, Rail Management and Equipment Management products. San Diego-based Peregrine said companies reduce the cost of their transportation assets by streamlining processes such as work orders, fuel transactions and inventory management.
Peregrine plans to market Transportation 5.0 to both private and public entities, including government fleets and municipal bus operations, along with for-hire carriers, private trucking fleets, and rail operations.
