Pilot Travel Centers LLC has announced a plan to add 100 to 150 maintenance shops to its existing truckstops. The Pilot Truck Care Centers will each be equipped with four repair bays open 24/7.
The shops will offer maintenance, lubrication, automated washes, and oil and tire changes. Kenworth parts, Shell and Mobile Delvac oil, and Goodyear, Michelin, and Bridgestone tires will be available.
The maintenance shops will be yet another service Pilot offers in its centers, as well as its existing fast food offerings, convenience store products, truck accessories and apparel, showers, phones, and other amenities.
Pilot plans to open about one maintenance shop per month, starting in West Memphis, AR.
