Preston founder Blades dies

A.T. Blades, founder and long-time executive of the former Preston Trucking Co. Inc., died November 14 at the age of 94. Blades founded Preston in 1932 and was its president & CEO until 1986. The company ceased operation in 1999. He had been vp for the American Trucking Assns. and was president of the Maryland Motor Truck Assn.
