Qualcomm inks deal with European truckload carrier

San Diego-based Qualcomm has signed a three-year deal with Vos Logistics, a truckload carrier based in the Netherlands. Qualcomm Wireless Business Solutions Europe, a subsidiary of Qualcomm, will provide satellite communications services to Vos Logistics' 2,000 unit fleet over its EutelTRACS network. EutelTRACS is the name of Qualcomm's OmniTRACS satellite-based mobile communications system in Europe.

Qualcomm Wireless Business Solutions Europe, a subsidiary of Qualcomm, will provide satellite communications services to Vos Logistics' 2,000 unit fleet over its EutelTRACS network. EutelTRACS is the name of Qualcomm's OmniTRACS satellite-based mobile communications system in Europe.

Vos Logistics specializes in dry bulk, packed goods and liquid bulk transport. It also provides truckload and less-than-truckload services, along with intermodal options. Vos Logistics operates 3,000 trucks, 6,000 trailers and containers, two service centers and employs 4,000 at 30 offices throughout Europe.
