Roadway Express Inc. announced today that Craig B. Tallman was elected vp of sales for the carrier, effective January 1, 2002. Tallman has been with Roadway for 23 years, and currently holds the position of Midwest Division vp of sales.
"We're excited about the leadership and sales management background that Craig will bring to this new assignment," said Jim Staley, president & COO for Roadway. "He is well-prepared to lead our sales activities in this challenging business environment."
Lou Esposito, the company’s current vp of sales, is retiring at the end of the year after serving in the position for five years. He has been with Roadway for 30 years.
