Savi Technology, a provider of supply chain systems for asset and security management, has appointed Bruce Jacquemard as its executive vp and general manager of global field operations.

Jacquemard has 21 years of experience leading enterprise software and logistics businesses and was formerly senior vp of supply chain software maker i2 Technologies.

Jacquemard's postion "is a major step in helping Savi leapfrog to the next level of expansion worldwide, especially at a time when growing demand for our proven real-time logistics solutions is leading to new commercial business opportunities globally," said Vikram Verma, Savi's CEO.

Savi, a privately held company founded in 1989 and based in Sunnyvale, CA, designs real-time logistics systems that is integrated with automatic data cllection and identification systems for greater supply chain security.
