One of the many issues facing small fleets in the waste industry is finding and integrating the best business software packages available to more efficiently and profitably manage operations. However, Pinnacle Development Partners is taking a new approach – providing an entire line of software pre-integrated, with the flexibility to add other software packages as needed.

“The issue facing small fleets is that they have the same data management needs as the big operators, but neither the time nor resources to acquire and integrate all the software they need,” Chris Paquette, Pinnacle’s president and chief information officer, told Fleet Owner at last week’s Waste Expo convention.

“So what we’re offering is a ‘one-stop shop’ for every kind of business software a small waste hauler might need – data conversion, route mapping, records archiving, dispatch tracking, etc. – all in one package that has the flexibility to be upgraded over time as the fleet’s needs change,” he explained.

Paquette also stressed that Pinnacle’s package, named Haulmark, is not designed as a “one size fits all” system. “We customize it to fit a fleet’s specific needs – maybe they already have route mapping software or billing history and just need to add in a customer service history feature,” he said. “What we’re trying to do is give smaller fleets access to all the software products they can use to make their business run better.”
