Under the contract extension, Albion Automotive's Glasgow Driveline facility will continue to produce Salisbury-style rear axles for the Renault Mascott van and Midlum medium-duty truck using improved AAM technology content.

Albion Automotive currently supplies all Renault's 3.5- to 5.5-ton gross vehicle weight (GVW) axle requirements for the Mascott van and the 7.5-ton GVW axle for the Midlum vehicle.

In addition to extending the contract with Renault, the new contract will provide Renault with enhanced product features such as an electronic differential lock actuator.
