Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) said it plans to boost its sales to light-truck fleets by 30% in 2003.

Valvoline fleet services manager Douglas L. Hurd said the company will make owners of such fleets aware of the benefits of outsourcing oil changes and other routine preventive vehicle maintenance to VIOC’s chain of more than 700 service centers.

VIOC said its benefits to fleet owners include convenience for drivers, control for managers and use of quality products.
