Less-than-truckload giant Yellow Corp. has signed a contract with New Jersey-based Getpaid Corp. to use its receivable management software and services system, called Getpaid 7i. The system will be used by Yellow’s primary operating subsidiary, Yellow Freight System.
"We are using Getpaid because it is a proven collection tool which has a demonstrated track record of reducing delinquency,” said Joe Whitsel, vp-- revenue management for Yellow Freight. "We hope to improve our collections productivity, reduce outstanding delinquencies and resolve problem invoices more quickly and accurately. Many of our customers have account structures with multiple locations and contacts, making collections a difficult task.”
