Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Administrator Annette Sandberg has agreed to remain at her post through the end of March, Dept. of Transportation Secretary Norman Y. Mineta has announced.

Last month Sandberg submitted her resignation letter to The White House, effective March 1. No reason for her departure was cited in the letter.
