NTEA names Mike Frizzell president

Mike Frizzell was named president of National Truck Equipment Assn. (NTEA) during the trade group’s recent annual convention. Frizzell is president of Sacramento-based Royal Truck Body – River City.

He started his own business in 1978, Sacramento-based River City Truck Equipment, until he sold it to Royal Truck Body in 1999.

“Because of his business background, Mike is a president who can relate to all of our members,” said NTEA executive director Jim Carney. “As a business owner, he suffered through problems that many of our smaller members experience from time to time.

“Having sold his business to a larger company and now working for them, he has that perspective as well,” Carney continued. “His experiences bring him a well-rounded view of both small and larger companies” in the truck-equipment industry.
