HDMA Names Chairman, New Officers

Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association names Diggory chairman

William “Bill” Diggory, vp & gm of Chicago Rawhide has been elected 2005 chairman of the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Assn. (HDMA). He had served as HDMA vice chairman in 2004.

Dennis Kline, ArvinMeritor’s vp— worldwide truck sales & marketing, takes the HDMA’s vice chairman seat. Mike Bozich, president of GT Development Corp., is now HDMA’s secretary. All the officers will serve through November 2005.

Two new directors were elected, with terms expiring in 2007:

  • Vicky Black, Dana Corp.’s vp & gm— heavy vehicle technology and systems
  • Joe Plomin, Remy International Corp.’s senior vp & gm— heavy duty industrial division
