Kirkland, WA-based Kenworth Truck Co. is donating a new 2006 model T-800 dump truck to the City of New Orleans to support humanitarian efforts for those impacted by Hurricane Katrina.
The truck is going to be delivered to the local New Orleans dealer, Kenworth of South Louisiana, which is located in nearby Harahan, LA. “I guarantee that the city officials here in New Orleans very much welcome Kenworth’s donation and look forward to putting this special truck into action as soon as possible,” said Scott Oliphant, the dealership’s general manager.
