Kenworth Truck Co. has published a free guide to help fleets and owner-operators improve fuel economy.

The guide, titled “Push Less Air Pull More Profit,” emphasizes spec’ing for better aerodynamics. This includes components such as full roof and chassis fairings, side extenders, and under hood air cleaners. In addition, it notes that optimal trailer gap could be achieved by the proper wheelbase and fifth wheel settings to save fuel.
