Rush Truck Centers adds five Peterbilt dealerships through Louisiana acquisition
Rush Enterprises recently acquired certain assets of Peterbilt of Louisiana, expanding its Rush Truck Centers network into South Louisiana and strengthening its Gulf Coast presence. The acquisition adds five full-service Peterbilt dealership locations, one collision center, one PacLease operation, 46 service bays, more than 23,000 sq. ft. of parts storage, and approximately 107,000 sq. ft. of facility space.

The acquired locations in Baton Rouge, Houma, Lafayette, Lake Charles, and New Orleans will operate as Rush Truck Centers and Rush Truck Leasing. The acquisition brings Rush Enterprises to 167 Rush Truck Centers dealership locations and 61 Rush Truck Leasing locations across 24 U.S. states and Ontario, Canada.
DHL Supply Chain and Strauss launch integrated logistics hub in Columbus
Engelbert Strauss and DHL Supply Chain launched an integrated logistics partnership in Columbus, Ohio, to support Strauss’ growing U.S. B2B operations. The partnership combines Strauss’ workwear customization capabilities with DHL Supply Chain’s warehousing, distribution, and personalization services, with the Columbus hub able to process up to 1.3 million units per year.
“As Strauss accelerates its expansion in the U.S., DHL Supply Chain is providing the operational backbone to support that growth,” said Patrick Bennett, CFO of DHL Supply Chain North America. “By integrating fulfillment and customization into a single, scalable operation, we’re enabling Strauss to expand its footprint with greater speed, efficiency, and consistency. Mode Global partners with Overhaul to strengthen cargo theft protection
Mode Global recently partnered with Overhaul to add real-time cargo theft detection and recovery across its carrier network. Within the first four months of the partnership, the companies recovered a shipment valued at approximately $500,000, delivering more than a 550% return on Mode’s program investment.
