ArvinMeritor has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with FrasLe to supply customers in Mexico with Frasle-branded aftermarket brake lining for heavy-duty trucks, trailers and buses—effective immediately.
ArvinMeritor said initially three FrasLe friction mixes will be offered in 18 variations, resulting in about 100 part numbers. Fleet customers will be able to purchase bulk-loose friction materials or materials riveted on shoes with full brake kit hardware from an ArvinMeritor distributor.
The friction materials will be offered along with the existing Meritor MA friction lining offerings.
ArvinMeritor announced separately that its commercial axle manufacturing facility in Osasco, Brazil has reached the 50-year milestone of operation.
