Schneider completes leadership transition with new executive team structure

Schneider National recently completed its planned leadership and organizational changes, with Jim Filter assuming the roles of president and CEO and introducing a new structure designed to strengthen customer service and operational efficiency. Two executive vice presidents now lead the company's intermodal/logistics and truckload portfolios with end-to-end accountability for services and supporting functions.

“As we look ahead to a new chapter, I am confident the tightly aligned structure we are announcing today will help us remain nimble, maintain close relationships with our customers, and continue building a stronger, more agile Schneider for the future,” Filter said. “Our strategy empowers accountable leaders and engaged teams to accelerate growth and drive efficiency.”

Michael Baumgardt now serves as EVP of intermodal and logistics, Steve Wells joined as EVP of truckload, and Angela Prill was promoted to SVP of intermodal operations. BrickHouse GPS hires telematics veteran to lead fleet technology growth

BrickHouse GPS recently appointed Fleetmatics veteran Dave Brown as CRO to support growth following its recapitalization and expand its go-to-market capabilities. Brown brings more than 30 years of SaaS, telematics, private equity, and revenue leadership experience, including helping scale Fleetmatics before its IPO and acquisition by Verizon.

As CRO, Brown will lead BrickHouse GPS's B2B sales and marketing initiatives, focusing on helping businesses realize the operational and financial benefits of telematics technology. 

Kelley Logistics names new president to lead 3PL growth and technology expansion

Kelley Logistics recently named McLean Palmer as president to lead the company's next phase of growth, technology enhancements, and expansion in the third-party logistics market.

“I've spent my entire career in logistics, and what has always mattered most is taking care of customers and building strong relationships. Kelley has that same mindset,” Palmer said. “They have built a strong foundation over the last 20 years to provide customized solutions, and I'm excited to lead the next phase of growth.”

Palmer will oversee strategic direction, operational performance, and enhancements to Kelley Logistics' proprietary transportation management system, Lighthouse, while continuing to support customer service efforts.
