Peterbilt Motors Co. is now offering Holland FW 17 Series fifth wheels optionally on its full line of medium- and heavy-duty tractors

Peterbilt Motors Co. is now offering Holland FW 17 Series fifth wheels optionally on its full line of medium- and heavy-duty tractors. The fifth wheels are available in fixed and air slide versions that are up to 16% lighter and have a vertical load rating of 50,000 lbs and a maximum 150,000-lb drawbar pull rating, said the OEM.

“The Holland FW17 Series fifth wheels are designed to handle on-highway applications up to 95,000 lbs gross combination weight, letting customers confidently pull loads approaching heavy-haul,” said Peterbilt assistant gm Scott Pearson.

The fifth wheels are backed by a five-year, 500,000-mile performance guarantee, and are available on Peterbilt heavy-duty Model 379, 387, 386, 385, 378, 357 tractors and on the medium-duty Model 335.
