Prime Inc. has placed an order with Carrier Transicold for 3,000 Ultima XTC refrigeration units as part of a major fleet upgrade and expansion

Prime Inc. has placed an order with Carrier Transicold for 3,000 Ultima XTC refrigeration units as part of a major fleet upgrade and expansion. The deal includes an option to purchase an additional 2,000 units for a total of 5,000 units.

“We found that Carrier Transicold possesses exceptional refrigeration unit design and technology,” said Robert Low, founder & CEO of Prime Inc. “We are confident that we will be able to continue supporting our customers with the best equipment available.”

Carrier Transicold said the Ultima XTC is Carrier’s premier trailer reefer unit, offering high performance, exceptional reliability and possessing a sophisticated controller and fuel management technology.
