According to FTR: Spot rates dropped just under 14 cents last week. Year over year, rates are up 48%. Dry van loads rose 19%. Decreases were seen nationwide, though they were far worse in the Southeast and Midwest.
According to DAT: National linehaul spot rates rose 1 cent last week, averaging $2.50 per mile.
Refrigerated rates and volumes
According to FTR: Spot rates dropped over 26 cents last week. Rates were 42% higher than last year. Refrigerated loads rose just over 10%.
According to DAT: National linehaul spot rates dropped 2 cents last week, averaging $2.83 per mile.
Flatbed rates and volumes
According to FTR: Spot rates dropped almost 15 cents last week. Year over year, rates were up 49%. Flatbed loads rose almost 31%.
According to DAT: National linehaul spot rates held steady last week, averaging $3.00 per mile.
