Sunnyvale, CA-based Savi Technology, a radio frequency identification (RFID) technology supplier, has tapped David Kranzler as its new senior vp of engineering.
Kranzler is expected to oversee Savi’s worldwide engineering organization, including application, middleware and hardware development as well as standards and patents teams.
A 20-year veteran of the software and semiconductor industries, Kranzler previously served as general manager for Broadcom, engineering director for electronic data storage firm Gadzoox, and a variety of engineering positions with 3Com. He’s also an inventor, named on five U.S. patents in data communications and system design.
