A move from the East Coast to the West Coast has shaken up the executive team of third- party logistics firm Stonepath Group.
Bob Arovas, Stonepath’s president, is now also its CFO after Tom Scully resigned following the relocation of Stonepath’s headquarters this year from Philadelphia, PA to Seattle, WA.
Arovas said he plans to continue the process of both smoothing out Stonepath’s fiscal picture and harmonizing all the companies it acquired since he became president of the firm in October 2004.
“Much has been done to restructure the company's financings and integrate many of our acquired businesses,” Arovas said. “These efforts will continue with enhanced management reporting and improved internal controls. We believe we’re well positioned for future growth and success as a result of the many changes that we have made across the organization.”
