TCA elects new chairman

ORLANDO, FL. Here at the Truckload Carriers Assn. (TCA) annual meeting, Barry Pottle, CEO of Bangor, ME-based Pottle’s Transportation, has been elected as 2006-2007 chairman of TCA

ORLANDO, FL. Here at the Truckload Carriers Assn. (TCA) annual meeting, Barry Pottle, CEO of Bangor, ME-based Pottle’s Transportation, has been elected as 2006-2007 chairman of TCA. Pottle aims to help increase the supply of drivers to the industry as well as address hour of service, electronic onboard recorder regulations, and truck size and weight guidelines.

During his 28 years with the trucking industry, he has won the TCA National Fleet Safety grand prize, been a past chairman of the Maine Motor Transport Assn., state vp of the American Trucking Assns., and past chairman of TCA’s membership committee.
