EBE Technologies has introduced a web-based CSA (Comprehensive, Safety, Accountability) dashboard that allows users to monitor and compare multiple carriers in one interface. The CSA CarrierBoard that gives shippers, logistics providers, and carriers access to a database updated monthly with carriers’ federal CSA scores.
“Our new CSA CarrierBoard is a valuable tool to help shippers and logistics providers identify carriers best suited for their moves.” said Cindy Nelson, vp of marketing & business development for EBE. “Not only is this a time-saving tool, but it also ensures that shippers and logistics providers are maintaining and assigning loads to the safest and most compliant carriers within their network.”
CarrierBoard aggregates information from the MCMIS database, including inspections, violations, and BASIC percentile, and the Carrier Census Information system, which contains carrier profile and registration information. Email notifications for carriers who do not meet the standards set by shippers and logistics providers are available. If a carrier’s status changes under the criteria, a notification is sent.
Carriers can be sorted by company name, DOT or MC number. Carriers can also be filtered by type, number of trucks, truck size and vehicle miles traveled. The results populated in the dashboard contain percentiles of the five publicly available CSA BASIC categories.
“While this tool was initially conceived to help shippers and logistics providers keep a better pulse on their carrier network, it has also found to be a valuable tool for for-hire carriers that take a proactive approach to monitoring industry competitors,” said Nelson.
“A carrier can create a standard group of companies to monitor on a monthly basis for the purpose of showing their customers how they rank amongst their competition,” she continued. “This dashboard is proving to be a powerful sales tool for companies committed to maintaining and showcasing their positive standards.”
