Letter to the editor

Feb. 10, 2014

“… I really enjoyed your article on the hours of service (HOS) in the January issue.  As a past chairman of the Truckload Carriers Assn. and currently vice-chairman of the American Trucking Assns., the issue of HOS has been long going, and the most recent changes have not been good for the public, shippers, truck owners, fleet owners or the drivers that drive America.  Your article was ‘spot on’ and to the point… We have read your magazine for years and appreciate all that you and Fleet Owner do for the trucking industry.  We must continue to educate and talk about the hours-of-service issue as it needs to be amended from its current form.”
