Kendra Phillips is the vice president and general manager of Transportation Management & Brokerage. In this role, she is responsible for the management of our customers’ transportation network solutions. The transportation services include carrier procurement, load planning & execution, visibility & optimization, freight bill audit & payment, network management and brokerage. Previously at Ryder, she was chief technology officer and vice president of New Products for the Supply Chain and Dedicated Solutions divisions. In this position, she was responsible for overseeing the evaluation, development, and deployment of emerging technologies and digital products required to build out innovation across Ryder’s Supply Chain and Dedicated Transportation businesses. Joining Ryder in 2006, Kendra began her Ryder career in Corporate Strategy and held numerous roles, including group director of Dedicated operations. Kendra has also worked at Aurora and Deloitte Consulting LLP. At Aurora, a self-driving vehicle technology company, Kendra was vice president of service delivery responsible for designing, building, and implementing the services that compose Aurora’s commercial product. At Deloitte, Kendra led the global implementation of new locations and technology platforms for numerous Fortune 500® customers. Kendra earned her MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Masters in Engineering Management from the McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University.
