Adomani, A-Z Bus partner to maintain hybrid school bus fleets

Adomani announced an agreement with A-Z Bus Sales to partner in the conversion and maintenance of hybrid and all-electric drive school bus fleets.

Adomani announced an agreement with A-Z Bus Sales to partner in the conversion and maintenance of hybrid and all-electric drive school bus fleets.  With this partnership, Adomani said it will supply A-Z Bus Sales with a patented Adomani drivetrain and components for retrofitting school buses that are capable of fulfilling performance criteria and state and local emissions targets. 

“As an Adomani service and training partner, A-Z Bus Sales brings well-renowned expertise in alternative fuel vehicles and expansive infrastructure for large-scale fleet conversions,” the company said. “The company services and repairs all school bus makes and models and provides sales, service, parts, and financing, as well as emissions compliance services.”

Adomani CEO Jim Reynolds said, “A-Z has the facilities, experience, manpower and industry connections to assemble, train, warranty and provide ongoing road service as we convert new and older polluting school buses to clean zero-emission electric school buses. With their partnership and technical support and our patented drivetrain design, knowledge of battery technology, mastery of battery management system and electric vehicle industry experience, we can quickly scale deployment of our systems to make a huge impact on California’s school bus market.”

The Adomani powertrain supports the medium to heavy-duty fleet market with a focus on school bus, commercial, government and utility fleets, according to the company.
