Freedom Waste Service, a Kentucky-based waste hauler, has taken delivery of its first natural gas Peterbilt Model 384. The truck, delivered in cooperation with the Larson Group and Peterbilt of Evansville, is equipped with a Cummins ISX 12 G engine.
Freedom is also building a compressed natural gas fueling station in Princeton, KY, with additional locations planed in Paducah, Bowling Green and Madisonville to support future natural gas vehicles.
“The Larson Group and Peterbilt of Evansville are extremely excited about our partnership with Freedom Waste Services,” said Chuck Peterman, vice president and director of sales for the Larson Group. “Important milestones such as this, help TLG continue to grow our CNG footprint and further populate the transportation industry with Peterbilt’s state-of-the-art CNG powered vehicles.”
